ایپل انسائیڈر کے مطابق ایپل کی جانب سے متعارف کرائے جانےو الے نئے ضوابط پر اتفاق کرنےو الے ای یو (یورپین یونین) ڈیویلپرز ایپ اسٹور کی حریف ایپ مارکیٹ پلیسز بنا سکیں گے۔ یہ اسٹورز ایسی ایپلی کیشنز استعمال کے لیے پیش کریں گے جو ایپل کے ایپ اسٹور کے علاوہ ہوں گی یا ان پر ایپل کے قواعد کا اطلاق نہیں ہوتا ہوگا۔
ایپل کی جانب سے کیے جانے والے اس اقدام کے بعد ڈیویلپرز ایپ اسٹور کنیکٹ اور ایپ اسٹور کنیکٹ اے پی آئی میں اپنی ایپلی کیشنز کو سیٹ اپ کرنے کے لیے نئے فیچرز استعمال کر سکیں گے۔
